Australia: St Francis Catholic School Hughenden celebrates World Teacher’s Day 2023

Queensland, Australia: St Francis Catholic School Hughenden is celebrating World Teacher’s Day today. They recognise the role of every individual at their school who embodies the spirit of an educator.

Located in Queensland, Australia, St Francis Catholic School Hughenden is a Preprimary-based six-year school for children, focusing on Academic and extracurricular modes of attaining education.

Today (Thursday), October 5, 2023, is marked as World Teacher’s Day and Educator’s Day Globally. Queensland and several other states in Australia officially celebrate it on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Due to the bustling term ahead and the clashing of other events on that date, St Francis Catholic School staff members and students recognise this vital day today.

The St Francis Catholic School Staff members, while marking World Teacher’s Day 2023, noted that at school, every individual, from teachers to school officers, administrative personnel, and their diligent cleaners, embodies the spirit of an educator.

They also emphasised the role of teachers and educators and shared, “The role of an educator isn’t confined to just those who teach subjects, but extends to all who mould, inspire, and make a difference in the lives of our students.”

Furthermore, they noted that every interaction offers a learning opportunity, no matter how small. At St Francis, young minds are privileged to be surrounded by such a diverse group of ‘teachers’.

The St Francis Catholic School extended their profound pleasure and gratitude to all their staff members and thanked them for their consistent support in shaping students’ lives.

“Each of you plays an indispensable role in shaping, guiding, and nurturing our students,” they noted.

“On this special day, we celebrate you. Thank you for your unwavering dedication and commitment,” St Francis continued.

Previously, they also shared an announcement about conducting a Book Fair Family Event this month from Monday, the 23rd of October, to Friday, the 26th of October, 2023. They also urged students to join the book fair by getting ready with Alice in Wonderland-themed Dress Up.
