Australia: The University of Southern Queensland, or USQ University, has welcomed South African-based researcher, author, award-winning researcher and Senior Fellow Dr Rian Roux. The University highlighted his qualities and shared some glimpses of his experience.
The USQ University, an efficient education pathway for domestic and International Students to share about Rian, marked his achievements.
As per them, Rian spent his adolescence in a small fishing and farming community in Australia’s far north.
Intrigued by the stories and cultures that shape our lives, he has travelled widely and pursued studies in applied science, theology and education.
He also has experience in business, school teaching and social enterprise. After spending a year at Oxford University, he commenced a PhD at UniSQ with a focus on transformative learning, student leadership development and the democratic purpose of higher education.
He is an author, award-winning researcher, and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and he has recently taken a leadership role at UniSQ College as a UniPrep Coordinator.
The USQ has remained committed to disseminating better education to every student. Apart from providing better education, they have been conducting various events and honouring ceremonies to honour and award students for their achievements.
Recently, USQ University has also extended its pleasure and celebrated the Awards and Graduation Ceremony celebration. The ceremony took place on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Last week’s Toowoomba Flexi School celebrated the success of their Y12 young people. They had the pleasure of having students in the UniPrep programme.
This special occasion also allows the school, as a whole community, to acknowledge and express gratitude to all community partners supporting the Flexi young people.
Dr Naomi Ryan was invited to attend the graduation and present the OverAll Achievement Awards during the event.
Dr Ryan expressed how wonderful it was to see UniPrep students recognised for their hard work and to have received early offers for 2024.
