The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, ASE Bucharest University’s representatives from Romania attended the reunion of the REform Alliance of European Universities on Thursday, October 26, 2023, and Friday, October 27, 2023.
The meeting was held in Kufstein, Austria, jointly hosted by FH Kufstein and the University of Passau. This was the third in-person reunion, after those in Bucharest and Lyon.
REform: Responsible Innovation & Ethics for Europe is the alliance of ten diverse European universities and higher education institutions from nine countries across all four regions of Europe.
The Alliance’s vision and long-term desired outcome is a paradigm shift: from science in society to science for and with society.
REform’s ambition is to have a more significant impact on the future by empowering European generations to address global challenges responsibly – through a collaborative, interdisciplinary and innovative bottom-up approach.
Through the event, the representatives from ASE Bucharest focused on providing the students with a Responsible Education.
The ASE Bucharest representatives highlighted their visions. They aim to empower learners to act as responsible, socially engaged European citizens who can cooperate across Europe.
Earlier, the Representatives from ASE Bucharest also attended the ” Digital Universities Europe Forum” in Barcelona, Spain. The Forum was held Between 23-25 of October, 2023. This year’s main topic of the Forum was “the road to digital, equitable and green higher education”.
The “Digital University Europe Forum” was Hosted by Times Higher Education in partnership with UOC. The Universities addressed vital challenges and opportunities of digital-first higher education and showcased tools, technologies and talent to accelerate education innovation.
The Delegates from various European universities heard success stories, case studies, practical solutions and advice that equipped them with the knowledge and skills to transform their institutions digitally.
