France: A hiker from the South of France named Marion has been reported missing around the Caribbean region for almost a month since February 4, 2023. Having gone on a Trek, Marion gave no sign of life to her family or her acquaintances in Guadeloupe, where she passed through. She was last seen at Laudat between segments 4 and 5 of the Pont Case front trek.
The family members of Marion are looking for volunteers to participate in the search. The family updated on Sunday that they still haven’t heard from their daughter, who is doing the Waitukubuli Trek from south to north of the island.
Marion has not given any sign of life for a month. The young woman who had passed through Guadeloupe is wanted by her relatives.
According to her relatives who live in France, a report has been filed with the prosecutor’s office in his native region in conjunction with the French Consulate on the neighbouring island. An investigation into the disturbing disappearance has been opened.
Research by the English-speaking authorities began last week to try to find the young woman. A call for witnesses has also been circulating on social networks for several days.
Her sister Maya contacted by RCI, indicates that “Her phone plan does not work there. She had to give news when she arrived. She had to do the trek in 15 days and had planned to bivouac alone in a hammock along the trek”.
The young woman left Guadeloupe by catamaran to go to Dominica. She had then indicated that she had arrived on the island. “I’m worried, but at the same time, I’m hopeful,” also confides her sister Maya.
While asking everyone to give any detail related to her daughter, the family said, “If you are on the GR trail, please ask everyone, especially at the supply points. Any information will help us narrow down the search area.”
Her relative added that she has a SMALL CRESCENT MOON TATTOO on the upper part of her forehead and asked people to contact the below people if they know something or if they want to volunteer for the search:
