The German Embassy in Washington shared information about the unique strategic partnership between Germany and the United States, as discussed by Army General Carsten Bruer during his trip to the USA in his new role as the General Inspector or Chief of Staff of the German Armed Forces on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. General Bruer currently serves as the Chief of Defence for the German Armed Forces.
The German Embassy in Washington also shared some of the glimpses from General Carsten Bruer’s visit to the USA in his new role as General Inspector or Chief of Staff of German Armed Forces of Germany, the position which he took on March 17, 2023.
The Embassy Informed that General Carsten Breuer highlighted the unique strategic partnership between Germany and the United States during his first-ever trip to a foreign country in his new role as Inspector or Chief of staff of the German Armed Forces of Germany, the position which he took on March 17, 2023.
The Embassy also informed that General Breuer’s main focus was to discuss Russia’s brutal and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine with the Army General and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the USA, General Mark A. Milley.
General Breuer also participated in a public wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Military Cemetery to honour those who have paid the utmost price for the peace and freedom of the USA.
Reportedly, General Carsten Breuer, on November 30, 2021, was appointed as the head of the Corona crisis team planned by the traffic light coalition in the Federal Chancellery; the aim of the traffic light coalition was better coordination of the nationwide fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany, on September 27, 2022, Bruer was also appointed as the first commander in the Territorial Command and Control Command of the Bundeswehr.
