“I saw eyes of my children when Russian missiles flew over us”, says Ukrainian soldier

A Ukrainian soldier named Ivan from the 95th separate amphibious assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared his battlefield experience. He is the most experienced Ukrainian soldier when it comes to shooting enemy birds.

“I saw the eyes of my children when Russian missiles flew over us. This was back in February. Then I had no choice – I had to go to the army to protect my children,” says Ivan, hiding his face from the cold in the buff.

Ivan also shot down one of Russia’s most deadly combat helicopters K-52 Aligator worth 14 million. His squad members reported that Ivan is well known by the Russian army as he has significantly damaged Russian military units stationed there to conduct airstrikes using helicopters or drones.

Ivan also commented that the Ukrainian people’s patriotism is extraordinary as so many soldiers left their families to protect them from Russian attacks. They are pushing the invaders out of their land. But sadly, not everyone will be able to meet their family once again and return home.

During the conversation, Ivan explained that he worked for the Needle and recently got requalified for the Starstreak Operator. The weapon master was taught by the brothers with the callous “Celtic”.

Celtic had undergone relevant courses abroad in his time and already has a large number of shot-down Eagles and even enemy helicopters.

But when Ukrainians learned about the guy, he was already well-known in the Russian army. Additionally, the Celtic destroyed 15 “Orlanes”. Now that the Celtic has time, he teaches the brethren. This is how Ukrainian soldiers use every free minute to improve their skills or learn a completely new thing to become even stronger and better.
