The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has been called the most popular leader in the present world by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who visited Delhi for the ninth Raisina discussion session.
Based on approval ratings, the Italian PM noted that PM Modi appears to be the most popular leader globally.
While serving as the chief guest at India’s premier geopolitics and geostrategy conference, Prime Minister Meloni made these comments.
At the same time, the eighth Raisina Dialogue edition was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised it in association with the Observer Research Foundation (ORF).
During their conversation, the two leaders discussed several crucial topics. India’s foreign secretary Vinay Kwatra provided extensive information about the discussion, pointing out that Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni chose to travel to India for its strategic interest. She made it clear that this wasn’t just a typical bilateral visit.
Additionally, PM Meloni aims to elevate the two nations’ bilateral ties to the point of strategic partnership.
Prime Minister Meloni praised PM Narendra Modi’s leadership during the meeting. She highlighted the Indian Prime Minister’s capacity for leadership regarding challenges affecting the global situation.
The two leaders had extensive conversations about bilateral, regional, and international cooperation issues. The two presidents reportedly spoke about five crucial areas of cooperation, with defence receiving special attention.
Kwatra made it clear that a viewer could notice the two leaders’ close connection during the discussion. They had their conversations in a friendly, open, and fine environment.
PM Modi and Meloni reviewed the expansion of military exercises to strengthen the armed forces while discussing defence cooperation. They also discussed maritime collaboration, space, cyber, and the ocean.
