The Netherlands Embassy shared that in the coming days, they will see a lot of bilateral and business cooperation between India and the Netherlands, including exchanging knowledge, new business opportunities, building existing partnerships and creating more sustainable solutions in the water and maritime sector.
At last, The Netherlands Embassy also shared that the Netherlands and India had a long & strong collaboration in water and maritime. They can create a more resilient, sustainable, and equitable world by promoting multi-purpose and nature-based solutions, strengthening institutional collaboration and regulations, and building capacity at various levels.
Reportedly, India-Netherlands relations are the foreign relations between India and Netherlands; The Netherlands maintains Embassy in New Delhi, India, and India maintains its Embassy in the Netherlands. The Countries have held their relationship since 1947. The Netherlands today stands as the 3rd largest export hub in India. The trade between India and Netherlands has also led to the evolution and increase in the shipment of petroleum products, electronic items, chemicals and aluminium goods. The Netherlands-India had shared their relationship from the 17th Century when the Duthches and Mughals entered India for their Trading Purposes in 1605. In contrast, by the end of the 18th Century, the Dutches had lost their influence in trade with India.
