Famous Nigerian actress, screenwriter and film producer ReDahlia Uche Jombo from Abiriba, Nigeria, expresses her gratitude to society for supporting her. Uche Jombo was giving back to the society that made her who she is today through her foundation, Uche Zumbo Studios.
Uche Jombo was born in Abiriba in Abia state on the 28th of December 1979. She is a product of the University of Calabar, where she studied Math & Statistics. Jombo had bagged a diploma in Computer programming at the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
In Niger state. Jombo was discovered as an incredible Act in 1999 with her role in Visa to hell movie. Since then, she has been featured in over 200 films. After years of working as a Nollywood actress, the ebony black Queen and mother of one Uche Jombo ventured into script writing and later into production with a studio named UCHE JOMBO STUDIO, created in 2012.
She co-wrote movies like Girls in the hood, games men play, and celebrity. Since then, she has produced five major cinema movies, including damaged, misplaced, and others. She is big-time committed to giving back to society. She is actively involved in numerous charitable activities, including her continuous support for the African Children Talent Discovery Foundation (ACTDF) through her NGO Uche Jombo and YOU foundation.
Reportedly, Jombo has received several awards, including the Life Changers United Kingdom Humanitarian Award for Haiti in New York, USA, and the Best Actress by AfroNolly Group in 2008 in London, England, the City People Entertainment Awards for Best Actress 2010.
Also, she has received the Abriba Honour of Pride Award 2010, Abriba, Abia State as well as the Abia State Honours Award 2010. In 2008, Jombo started the executive production of her films through her production. In 2012 she married Kenny Rodriguez.
