Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: Terrence Drew, the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis’s Prime Minister and Minister of Health, recently expressed his happiness that two St. Kitts and Nevis youngsters are receiving heart surgery. The social media post, which was updated on March 8, 2023, states that the Cayman Islands is where the children are being treated.
“I am glad to share an update that two youngsters from St. Kitts-Nevis are currently in the Cayman Islands to get heart-saving surgery,” the post by the prime minister of St. Kitts and Nevis read. Children must not perish because their parents or guardians are poor.
According to a government update, both children have received financial aid in the amounts of USD 70,000 and USD 30,000, respectively.
The people of Saint. Kitts and Nevis have appreciated and applauded the initiative taken by the administration under Prime Minister Drew. Several people agree that Terrance Drew’s leadership has led to improvements and growth in the healthcare industry, and some of them have praised the leader in the comment area.

Prime Minister Terrance addressed the top cause of death in St. Kitts and Nevis Drew earlier this week, who also pledged that the government would offer the best care.
He said, “I see it all the time; cancer is currently the leading cause of death in St. Kitts and Nevis, and I can count and estimate how many of us in this room will develop cancer. It’s a simple fact that 90% of St. Kitts residents cannot afford it.
