Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, recently sent his best wishes to Dr Norgen Maxwell Wilson, the country’s newly appointed non-resident Ambassador to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

“Congratulations to his Excellency the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela – Norgen Maxwell Wilson,” Minister Drew said as he congratulated Maxwell Wilson on becoming the non-resident Ambassador of Venezuela. He also wishes him health and happiness at work.

On March 14, 2023, St. Kitts and Nevis’s next non-resident Ambassador to the Bolivian Republic of Venezuela was appointed. Dr Wilson has been officially accepted by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, according to a recent statement posted by the government of St. Kitts & Nevis.

The newly appointed Ambassador delivered the Letters of Credentials in a formal ceremony on Tuesday morning in front of the President and other dignitaries from the administration.

The ally nation (Venezuela), according to a statement from the government of St. Kitts and Nevis, has consistently kept its word and tried to maintain friendly ties with the Caribbean region.

President Maduro posted on social media to express his happiness after the meeting. The President wrote in his post, “Always glad to welcome brotherly people today represented by Dr Norgen Maxwell Wilson, who handed me Credentials as Ambassador of St. Kitts and Nevis to Venezuela”. We’re glad you’re here in Bolivar and Chavez’s homeland! Following the union of our nations.”

According to an update from St. Kitts and Nevis’ government, the newly appointed minister will be in charge of promoting and maintaining diplomatic and friendly relations, representing and defending the interests of the government and individuals of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Additionally, it will coordinate and implement the Federation’s foreign policy priorities, investigating opportunities for trade promotion, and improving educational opportunities for the Federation’s citizens with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and to tackle the coordination of consular matters and services, among others duties.
