The United States Embassy in Nassau, The Bahamas, felt proud to recognize the newest member of their Alumni Community, International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP), alumna Jannie Gibson and marked several points about her.
Today (Wednesday), August 16, 2023, The United States Embassy in Nassau, The Bahamas, recognised the recognised servings and achievements of their newest Alumni Community, International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP), Alumna Jannie Gibson, the Foreign Office Second Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas
While recognising her, the United States Embassy in Nassau highlighted several positive points. They also highlighted her achievements and contributions to form effective partnerships and collaborations with her nation, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
The Embassy honoured her contributions and presented her with the awards. They also shared some glimpses from their meetings.
From May 14-24, 2023, Foreign Affairs Minister Jannie Gibson participated in a regional project titled “US IPCA and Hague Abduction Convention Judicial Practices” held in the united states recently.
This professional exchange provided insight into how the Hague Abduction Convention is implemented in the US and explained the US judicial process for international parental child abduction (IPCA) cases.
The Participants and Minister Gibson visited Washington, DC; Kansas City, Missouri; St. Louis, Missouri and Orlando, Florida.
On August 2, Minister Gibson met with Charge d’Affaires Mike Greer, Acting Consular Chief Jessica Elmshaeuser, representatives from the Political Section and Alumni Coordinator Lisa Moxey to share her experiences in the program.
During the visit, she was officially welcomed into the State Department alum community and presented with her certificate of participation.
At last, the United Embassy extended their pleasure and Once again congratulated Minister Gibson and paid best wishes for her continued success in her professional career.
