USA, New York: The Air Assault Division of the USA’s ‘101st Airborne Division’ and the light infantry division in the USA’s ’10th Mountain Division’ have formally transferred the mission authority of the U.S. in a ceremony at the Romanian National Defense University on April 5, 2023.
The Air assault division of the United States Army ‘the 101st Airborne Division’ took to their social media recently and announced and expressed their happiness over the formal transfer of ‘the 101st Airborne Division’ and ‘10th Mountain Division‘ to the mission authority of the U.S. in a ceremony at the Romanian National Defense University on April 5, 2023.
The 101st Airborne Division expressed that they have always been relentless in their mission to bolster Europe’s eastern flank and have always got it done. Still, they know that the 10th Mountain Division team will Climb to Glory and will continue to assure their NATO Allies and partners in the future too.
The 101st Airborne Division further expressed that they were recognized for their mission success while deployed to NATO’s eastern flank for the last nine months. However, the Screaming Eagle patch will remain in Europe. At the same time, they also shared that the 1st Brigade Combat Team “Bastogne” has recently assumed their mission from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team “STRIKE” in a ceremony last week.
They also expressed that they are always very proud of their achievements and the challenges they overcame during this rotation. Also, at last, they especially thanked their families for holding it back home; they love and miss them each day.
