Britain Queen Elizabeth II announces ‘Queen Camilla’ at her Platinum Jubliee

London: The Queen Elizabeth II of England (Britain) has completed her Platinum Jubilee as a historic milestone. On Sunday, February 6, 2022, Queen Elizabeth II has declared that she wants Camilla to be Queen Consort.

Camilla is the wife of her son Prince Charles, who is going to be the Prince of Britain. Queen Elizabeth also asserted that she believed that her daughter in law would be known as Queen consort when Charles became the Prince. Camilla is the second wife of Prine Charles as he was broke up with her first wife called Princess Diana. 

On the eve of the 70th anniversary of her accession to the throne, the Queen has addressed the nation with a written statement. She asserted that when Charles became Prince, she felt and hoped the citizen of the country would give the support and love to Charles and Camilla that they had given her. 

The 95-year old Queen Elizabeth II become the first monarch who has reigned for around seven decades in Britain. 

Charles and Camilla are a couple popular for the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, and she was the second wife of Charles. The couple got hitched in 2005, and the announcement was made on the day that Camillia would become the Princess Consort due to the sensitivity of the issue. Further, she won plaudits as the future king’s loyal wife.

Queen Elizabeth was the elder daughter of Prince Albert and Lady Elizabeth Bowes Lyon.  

The announcement was made after the day Queen Elizabeth began her Platinum Jubliee celebration in the subdued fashion at Sandringham in eastern England. The apartment is very close to the heart of Queen Elizabeth II as it is of the 20,000-acre estate near the north Norfolk coast. 

Queen Elizabeth has throned at the age of 25 on February 6, 1952, after the deaths of her father, King George VI and has become the long-serving monarch so far.
