The Bulgarian Ministry of Culture felt honoured and pleasured to share about the donations made by the National Donor Fund “13th Century Bulgaria” to the Multidisciplinary Active Treatment Hospital in Samokov and the Municipality of Samokov today, Thursday, June 23, 2023.
On expressing their honour and pleasure to the National Donor Fund “13th Century Bulgaria.” for making donations to serve the nation, The Bulgarian Ministry of Culture took to their official social media handle to share an update on the offerings by National Donor Fund to the Multidisciplinary Active Treatment Hospital in Samokov and the other – to the Municipality of Samokov.
The Bulgarian Ministry also shared some glimpses from the official ceremony presenting donations to the dignitaries of the two institutions by the National Donor Fund, highlighting their contributions towards the nation and honouring them with assistance,
As per the Update shared by the Ministry, The donation for MBAL-Samokov includes ten copies of the novel “Dobri” with drawings by the artist Atanas Kachamakov and 67 children’s works from the World Children’s Drawing Contest. It is intended for the hospital’s children’s ward.
The donation for the Municipality of Samokov contains 2,364 books, which will be distributed to all 26 community libraries in the region and ten schools in the city. Among the books are the editions of the Fund: “40 years of the NF “13th Century Bulgaria”. Mission Charity”, the catalogue with works from the IV Youth Art Festival “River of Tolerance”, the series “Bulgarian Art. Names. “, as well as current titles from the contemporary scientific and literature of the University Publishing House “St. Clement of Ohrid.”
Both donations were presented at an official ceremony by the Fund’s Executive Director – Mrs Bisera Yosifova, at the Saraf House, which has a genuine cultural value of national importance and a regional centre of the NDF “13th Century Bulgaria”.
