West Africa: Sierra Leonean Journalist and CEO of Sierra Leonean newspaper Awareness Times Dr Sylvia Olayinka, the Minister of Social Welfare Gender and Social Affairs, expressed her greatness for her sister Fatima’s second Honorary Doctorate Degree from the University of Sierra Leone at Fourah Bay College of Mount Aureol recently.
Dr Sylvia Olayinka recently took to her social media to share an update on her sister Fatima’s second Honorary Doctorate Degree from the University of Sierra Leone at Fourah Bay College of Mount Aureol. She expressed gratitude and shared that she’s super proud of her sister.
Sylvia Olayinka shared some of the glimpses from her sister Fatima’s convocation party at Fourah Bay College, Sierra Leone University, sharing that the ambience was beautiful. It was a moment of great joy and happiness for her.
Dr Sylvia shared a long note about the achievements of her sister Fatima on her social media. She wrote that before her sister Fatima started to serve them, she had an impeccable and rich academic background, including a degree of Bachelor of Arts Honours in Performing Arts from Roehampton University in Great Britain, which qualifies her as an International Actress and Script Writer.
She also shared that Fatima, not satisfied with one University degree has got graduated with another degree in the year 2015. Fatima graduated again with a second Bachelor of Arts with honours in Journalism from the prestigious London College of Communication in the United Kingdom.
On Friday, April 14, 2023, Fatima was given a second Honoris Causa doctorate after receiving one degree from last year with the American International University in West Africa.
At last, Dr Sylvia added that Fatima shined brightly because the Almighty saw her kind and grateful heart. She also congratulated her and said that she will always be super proud of her and shared a quote with a profound meaning quoted “When God lifts you, no mortal can bring you down”.
“Congratulations Dr Mrs Fatima Jabbe Maada Bio. I continue to be very proud of you”, said Sylvia Olayinka.
