France removes requirement of negative COVID report for vaccinated travellers

The travellers who want to travel to France now do not need to show their negative report against the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus as the government of the French authorities have informed that they have removed the requirement of showing the negative report of the COVID-19 viral infection. The ease has been imposed for those who are fully vaccinated against the viral infection COVID-19 pandemic.

As per the statement of the government of France, from Saturday, February 12, 2022, the people who are fully vaccinated against the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus has to present proof of vaccination, and they don’t need to undergo the COVID-19 tests. The vaccination certificate of the person is enough to get entry into the country without giving any report of the negative tests against the COVID-19 pandemic.

It further stated that the new strain of the novel coronavirus called Omicron variant had forced the authorities to impose certain kinds of restrictions, but now it’s time to remove it due to the fact that we have to live with it and we have to learn to live with it.

The statement further asserted that the new phase of the pandemic had been recognised in many countries with the emergence of the predominant variant of the Omicron with the higher vaccination rates.

The statement also urged that the people who are unvaccinated against the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus still have to show the negative report of the COVID-19 tests. Moreover, the other removal, such as testing on arrival and isolation, would be lifted if the visitors are coming from the countries that have been mentioned in the green list of the country, as per the government’s statement.

However, the people who are coming from the orange list of France and are unvaccinated would also have to give the essential reason for their visit to France and also have to take the tests after arriving.
