France reports three brutal murders in one day

France: On January 1, 2020, three women were allegedly killed by a partner or ex-partner, described as the most unbearable incident by the feminist campaigners, and the people of France have entered the new year with brutal violence.

These three alleged killings of women brought shock nationwide; people are demanding justice and stricter action against criminals who commit deadly violence against women and girls.

While criticising the violence, Marylie Breuil, spokesperson for Nous Toutes, a French feminist campaign group, asserted that, however, the brutal murderer was shocking, but France has seen plenty of crimes in the COVID-19 period against women, and the campaigners in the country were not surprised by the turn of events. ” The country has seen a surge of violence in New Year,” she added.

First Incident in France-

In the first incident, a 56-year-old woman was found dead in the country’s northeast. France Police informed that the lady was attacked with a knife in her chest in Labry, and the attacker was placed under formal investigation for the crime of murder of a partner.

Second incident-

According to the town’s prosecutor, a 28-year-old female military recruit was found dead near Saumur in western France. Reports stated that that woman was stabbed to death by a 21-year-old man, a soldier, was arrested to her death. Further, the investigation informed that the suspect might be her partner.

Third incident-

A 45-year-old woman was found dead in the trunk of a car in Nice. As per the reports of the deputy prosecutor in the southern city named Maud Marty, the woman was strangled by a man.

As per the reports, the police have investigated and charged her ex-husband with international homicide and manslaughter.

France is one of many countries that the United Nations considers a global shadow pandemic of violence against women in the COVID-19 lockdown that makes women confined at home. The brutal deaths of women, violence against girls have increased.
