Georgia logs 22,44 new COVID-19 cases, 53 deaths

On Thursday, February 10, 2022, a total of 22,444 people were exposed to the infection caused by the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours in Georgia. On the other hand, a total of 53 have lost their lives due to the deadly viral infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 over the past 24 hours in the country.

As per the status of the recoveries, over the past 24 hours, a total of 13,245 patients have been healed from the deadly viral infection caused by the COVID-19 virus in Georgia and discharged from the hospital facilities.

With the emergence of the new COVID-19 cases, the positive cases of the COVID-19 viral infection stood at 29.93 percent over the past 14 days.

Moreover, in the country, the number of people who have been infected with the deadly viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus was stood at 228,153.

As per the status of the tests, a total of 68,392 samples have been processed across the country with the testing procedure against the deadly viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours.

Out of the total tests, a total of 42,943 samples have been processed against the deadly viral infection caused by the COVID-19 virus with the testing procedure called rapid tests. On the other hand, the remaining 25,449 samples have been processed with the PCR tests against the viral infection caused by the COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours in Georgia.

Since the pandemic has emerged in the country, a total of 1,398,059 cases related to the novel coronavirus have been registered in the country.

As per the status of the Omicron variant, a total of 1,913 people have been contracted the Omicron variant of the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours in Georgia.

Moreover, a total of 220,210 people have been undergone treatment against the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus at home.
