COVID-19 in Georgia
On Saturday, February 5, 2022, a total of 23,134 people were exposed to the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours in Georgia. On the other hand, a total of 1,071,560 out of the 1,294,217 people who have been infected against the novel coronavirus have recovered from the viral infection and been discharged from the hospital facilities. Moreover, a total of 15,174 people have lost their lives and succumbed to the deadly viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus so far.
As per the vaccination status, a total of 1,339,345 people have received the first dose of the vaccine against the COVID-19 pandemic so far.
On the other hand, 1,226,339 people have received a required number of jabs and are fully immunised against the contagious mutant.
