Georgia logs 23,134 new COVID cases with 33 deaths

On Saturday, February 5, 2022, a total of 23,134 people were exposed to the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours in Georgia. With the emergence of new cases of infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2, the number of people who have confirmed the coronavirus since the pandemic has emerged in the country was 207 483.

On the other hand, a total of 33 people have lost their lives due to the infection caused by the COVID-19 pandemic over the last 24 hours in Georgia. Moreover, due to the daily positive cases of the COVID-19 viral infection, the rate of the positive cases of the viral infection stood at 30.36 percent over the 24 hours.

As per the status of the recovery, a total of 17,594 people have been recovered from the viral infection and discharged from the hospital facilities.

Over the past 24 hours, a total of 76,205 samples have been processed against the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus with the test of the COVID-19 viral infection in the country.

Moreover, between the total test of the novel coronavirus, a total of 48,711 samples have been processed against the contagious mutant with the test of the COVID-19 pandemic named antigen test.

On the other hand, the reaming samples 27,494 have been processed with the test called PCR tests against the novel coronavirus infection.

The toll of the confirmed cases of the infection caused by the COVID-19 virus was a total of 1,294, 217 since the pandemic has emerged in the country that is from February 26, 2022.

On the other hand, a total of 1,071,560 out of the 1,294,217 people who have been infected against the novel coronavirus have recovered from the viral infection and been discharged from the hospital facilities. Moreover, a total of 15,174 people have lost their lives and succumbed to the deadly viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus so far.

As per the vaccination status, a total of 1,339,345 people have received the first dose of the vaccine against the COVID-19 pandemic so far.

On the other hand, 1,226,339 people have received a required number of jabs and are fully immunised against the contagious mutant.
