Saint Lucia Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre visited the Vieux Fort to meet the residents of Bruceville today. Also, he shared his grief for the people who have lost their families and loved ones to senseless gang violence.
Saint Lucia Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre took to his social media recently and shared about his visit to Bruceville, Vieux Fort, to meet the local young Community people of Bruceville; he also shared some of the glimpses from his recent visit to Bruceville, meeting with the Young people who have aspirations to live happy and fulfilled lives.
The Prime Minister shared that the people of Bruceville, Vieux Port, like other communities of Saint Lucia, are made up of men and women who want the best for their children. It is a community with young people who aspire to live happy and fulfilled lives.
He also expressed his heartfelt grief and concern for the people who lost their families and loved ones in the senseless gang violence in Saint Lucia and asked people to be a more compassionate society, stated, ” As we mourn and seek justice for the families who have lost loved ones to this senseless gang violence, let us also resolve to be a more compassionate society. We can, and we must, do better; Saint Lucia is our home”.
Reportedly, Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre is the Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Youth Economy; since June 2016, he has also been the leader of the Saint Lucia Labour Party, PM Philip J. Pierre has always aimed to work for the betterment of Saint Lucia, he always prioritises to serve the Saint Lucia Island and protect the Rights, Cultures and Heritage of every Caribbean. He has also worked on improvising the various sectors in Saint Lucia, including post-pandemic economic recovery, public health and medicine, and sustainable development.
