Over 84% of women among Ukrainian refugees reaches Germany: BMI

Eighty-four per cent of the maximum number of individuals that have reached Germany escaping the war-torn nation are female, as per the data shared by the Federal Ministry of the Interior of Germany (BMI).

The average maximum of 1,936 interviews and the surveys conducted in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich and on the BMI websites enable the Ministry to come up with conclusions on the motivations when choosing a fight destination and the essential refugee that requires in Germany.

According to the study, 84 per cent of the individuals that have fled Ukraine are women, 58 per cent have left the nation till now with their young ones as well as only 17 per cent have come unaccompanied.

Moreover, the average age of the people who were interviewed the refugees is  38.2 years old.

The BMI has shared the information that most of the common route of running away was via Poland, which has been involved around  65 per cent of those who have made the decision to get access in the nation. In comparison, for  82 per cent of respondents, the country was the leading destination.

Along with this, the statement it has been mentioned that on April 4, the government of Germany has highlighted that this application could be downloaded from the app stores such as Google and Apple.

As per the government, about  10,000 page views of the app are reported on an everyday basis.

Furthermore, in the statement, it has been mentioned that “The official, trustworthy and secure point of contact offers arrivals information for their start in Germany in Ukrainian, Russian, English and German. The offer is constantly being further developed and includes up-to-date information on topics such as accommodation, medical care, mobility and job offers and social benefits. The digital residence permit for war refugees will soon be available via the portal.”
