Prez Macron expresses anger over school shooting in Texas

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, on Wednesday has said that France shared Americans’ anger over the school shooting in Texas, which left at least 19 children and two teachers dead.

Following the massacre sparked a new debate over the requirement for more gun control in the US, President Macron said, “We share the shock and grief of the American people, and the rage of those who are fighting to end the violence.”

A horrific mass shooting has taken place at Robb Elementary School, in Texas, in which a teen has shot and killed 21 people, including 19 children and two adults.

The Texas officials had identified the shooter as Salvador Ramos, of Uvalde, who also shot his grandmother before he crashed a vehicle near the school. In accordance to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Sgt. Erick Estrada, she is in critical condition.

It has also gained a lot of light from throughout the world as several global leaders stepped ahead to express their grief over the killings of those 19 children and two adults.

While addressing the media, President Biden said,” ‘These kinds of mass shootings happen very rarely elsewhere in the world. Why do we live with this carnage? Why do we keep letting this take place? Where in God’s name is our backbone to have the courage to deal with it? It’s time to turn this pain into action.”

Meanwhile, former President Barack has also expressed his grief over the horrific incident, “Across the country, parents are putting their children to bed, reading stories, singing lullabies—and in the back of their minds, they’re worried about what might happen tomorrow after they drop their kids off at school, or take them to a grocery store or any other public space.”
