The Governor General of Australia, David Hurley, welcomed Princess Astrid of Belgium to Australia today, October 23, 2023. Both the Delegations reflected their long-term and closed relationship.
The Governor General of Australia, David Hurley, extended his pleasure and gratitude to Princess Astrid. He emphasised Australia and Belgium’s long and close-grounded relationship, with shared values and historical links.
The delegations also discussed enhancing their partnership and initiating active collaboration through trade, investment, culture and tourism.
The Royal Highness is leading a trade mission to Australia to grow those links. The Governor-General and Mrs Hurley were delighted to welcome members to Admiralty House as they began their time in Australia.
Reportedly, the Nonprofit Organisation Oncidium Foundation was also pleasured to meet and honoured to meet the High Royal Princess Astrid of Belgium Yesterday, October 22, 2023.
The Organisation introduced the Oncidium Foundation to Princess Astrid of Belgium during the economic mission in Australia.
