Royal Enfield ties up with Italian Alpinestars to make riding apparel collection

Mid-size motorcycle maker Royal Enfield on Monday has released a statement that it has tied up with Italian riding gear company Alpinestars to make a riding apparel collection with high protection & performance.

Launched in 1963 in Asolo, Italy, Alpinestars is currently a world-leading producer of professional racing products, motorcycling airbag protection, high-performance apparel, gear as well as technical footwear.

The partnership is aiming to provide Indian riders with the necessary tools required to make the best of their adventures, Royal Enfield mentioned in a statement.

As per the statement released by Royal Enfield Executive Director B Govindarajan said, “Both, Royal Enfield & Alpinestars companies are known for making world-class riding apparel, footwear as well as gloves with a focus on rider safety, and this collaboration aiming to take that a notch higher.”

“The company is committed to bringing technology development with best-in-class quality, and this association is an effort to make high-quality gear accessible to all via Royal Enfield’s strong presence across markets,” he added.

The collection contains armour-infused riding jackets, and gloves along with riding trousers that meet global safety standards of safety, performance & comfort.

All the riding jackets, as well as riding trousers under this range, are CE Certified with Class A protection under personal protective equipment regulations & come with Alpinestars Nucleon flex pro CE level 2 armour.

The collection will be available in India across Royal Enfield stores, Amazon and Royal Enfield’s official website at a price point of Rupees 5,200 and goes up to Rupees 18,900, the company mentioned.
