Saint Lucia: Deputy PM Ernest attends Routes World 2023, shares glimpses

Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire extended his pride to attend the Routes World 2023 event in Istanbul on Sunday, October 15, 2023. He engaged in several discussions and established connectivity and interactions with the visitors to the nation.

Deputy Prime Minister Ernest also shared some updates from the Routes World Event. On his official social media handle, he mentioned that this annual gathering brings together airlines, airports, destination marketing agencies and aviation stakeholders worldwide.

They also had an adequate opportunity to discuss strengthening air services and establishing new routes.

He also shared some glimpses from the event on his official Facebook handle, conducting effective interactions and discussions with fellow attendees.

Further, Deputy PM Ernest said, “The event also facilitates presentations and discussions between stakeholders on various aspects of the industry, especially future growth and development.”

He also announced establishing discussions and connectivity with the visitors in an event held on Thursday, October 26, 2023.

“Over the three days, we will engage in discussions with the major airlines as we seek to establish more connectivity and increase the number of seats available for visitors to Saint Lucia of particular interest, is planning for the significant growth in room stock, which will take place from 2025/26,” Deputy PM added.

With the above Update, the Public reactions were exciting. They praised the Deputy Prime Minister and emphasised that this interaction would provide an effective opportunity to see increasing tourist arrivals.

Reportedly, the Routes World 2023, the premier global event dedicated to aviation route development in Istanbul, Turkiye, is set to be a pivotal gathering for industry leaders. Travel And Tour World is excited to be a part of it.

The First Winner of the Routes World 2023 Awards was Newcastle International Airport, for the Airport Under 5 Million Passengers award. The overall winner is Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. Larnaka International Airport won the Routes World 2023 5-10 Million Passengers award.
