Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire attends Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SHLTA)

Saint Lucian Politician and Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire today attended the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SHLTA) Chef’s Table Luncheon at the Sandals Grande Ballroom.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Earnest Hilaire, took over his social media informed about his today’s visit to Sandals Grande Ballroom where he attended the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA) Chef’s Table Luncheon,

Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilare expressed that he had the great opportunity to provide some brief remarks regarding critical milestones within the Tourism Industry and also offered a vision for where the Tourism Sector is heading.

The present representatives at the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SHLTA) Chef’s Table Luncheon were from the large boutique sector, along with staff from the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) and Saint Lucia Air and Seaports Authority (SLASPA).

Also, the Presentations were made by both agencies, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) and Saint Lucia Air and Seaports Authority (SLASPA), as they pertained to airlift into Saint Lucia, destination marketing and the investment and business climate.

At last, Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire said that the tourism sector of Saint Lucia is growing and will continue to ensure that it becomes a positive sum equation for the benefit of all the Saint Lucians.

Reportedly, Saint Lucian Politician and Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire is also currently serving as the Minister of Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information. He has also served as the First Deputy Leader of the Saint Lucian Labour Party.

Also, The Deputy Prime Minister has been serving as Castries South’s Representative in the House of Assembly. He has also been appointed the former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom for Saint Lucia. In 2016, he also served in the opposition until the victory of the Saint Lucian Labour party in the general elections of 2021.
