San Francisco: Municipal Population Office conducts Responsible Parenthood, Family Planning and Development Advocacy on Monday

The Municipal Population Office in San Francisco conducts Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning and Development Advocacy this week on Monday, June 26, 2023, to promote a Healthy and efficient lifestyle and sustainable families at Barangay Hubang, shares glimpses from the event.

As per the Update, The Local Government Unit of San Francisco, Municipal Information Office, headed by Municipal Mayor Grace Carmel Paredes-Bravo and the Municipal Population and Development Office conducted a Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning and Development Advocacy held in barangay hubang last Monday, June 26, 2023.

During the orientation, the Municipal Population Office emphasized the importance of responsible parenthood and family planning in promoting healthy and sustainable families. The orientation covered topics such as family planning methods, reproductive health, and responsible parenting.

Mayor Paredes-Bravo also shared her insights on the importance of good parenting and parent-to-child relationships in building strong families. She emphasized the role of parents in nurturing their children and creating a positive and supportive environment for them to grow and thrive.

“Kami sa LGU ug BLGU ang among stand jud is, responsible parenting is one of the key solutions to raising a child,” said mayor grace. She also added, “Be extra observant sa among mga anak. You have to reflect on the kind of relationship you have with your kids”.

The orientation was participated by 17 attendees, who expressed their appreciation for the valuable information and insights shared by speakers.
Present during the program are Sangguniang Bayan Member Soccorro Inson, Punong Barangay Rene Tulio, and Personnel from the Municipal Police Station PSSg. Novilyn De Veyra and Population Program Officer II Rojena Inson also shared their personal experience with parenting.

The Municipal Population Office, with the support of the Local Government Unit of San Francisco, remains committed to promoting responsible parenthood and family planning to help build healthy and sustainable families in the community.
