United States Embassy expressed their pleasure and gratitude to Latvia and USA Hockey team for organising the fantastic event and made tremendous victory at the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Championships and also welcomed hundreds of Latvian hockey fans at the US Embassy on Monday, May 29, 2023.

The US Ambassador Robinson and his wife, Donka and Mission Ruta Elvikis, welcomed hundreds of Latvian hockey fans at the US Embassy tonight after Latvia’s historic victory at the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Championships. The US Embassy also shared some glimpses from the IIHF World Championships and Latvia, where the Latvia fans were seen enjoying the event and enjoying the tremendous victory of the USA Hockey team and performing their best at the event.
At last, The US Embassy expressed their gratitude and pleasure over the US Ambassador Robinson and his wife Donka for marking their presence at the tournament and contributing to celebrating the victory of Hockey team members.
The Embassy then was also delighted for Latvia fans to join the event, cheer up the hockey players, mark their remarkable performances, and thank them. The Embassy also delighted Latvia and thanked it for being an amazing tournament co-host of the Hockey Tournament. They also thanked the USA Hockey team for giving them so many unforgettable moments on the ice and thanked them for the flowers.
