US Embassy Riga, Latvia, visits Kuldiga with Ambassador Christopher Robinson

The United States Embassy in Riga, Latvia, along with the United States Ambassador Christopher Robinson, visited Kuldiga this week and met Kuldīgas Nevada pašvaldība Council Chairman Inesa Astashevska and her colleagues to learn and discuss issues about the region’s development and effective development.

The United States Embassy in Riga, Latvia, extended their pleasure to meet with the Ambassador to the United States, Christopher Robinson. They also had the opportunity to strengthen and enhance their relationship with the United States.

The US Embassy and Ambassador Robinson also met with civil society representatives at Kurzemes NVO centres to learn about practical examples of civic activism in the area, including the Festival of Democracy.

Ambassador Robinson in Kuldiga visited Kuldīgas Galvenā bibliotēka.
It operates in a former Synagogue of Jewish communities built in 1875. in the year.

The Ambassador learned more about the Jewish community in Kuldiga and the architecture of the synagogue complex. At the end of his visit, the Ambassador visited Kurzemnieks to share his impressions of visiting the beautiful city in an interview.

Ambassador Robinson and our Embassy team enjoyed a wonderful visit to Kuldiga this week. The Ambassador spoke with Kuldīga Mayor Inese Astaševska and her colleagues to learn more about the region’s development and discuss possibilities for further cooperation.

They also met with civil society representatives at Kurzemes NGO Center to hear practical examples of civic activism in the region, including initiatives such as the Democracy Festival.

Ambassador Robinson toured Kuldīga Library, one of the city’s most beautiful buildings, in the former Jewish synagogue built in 1875. The Ambassador learned more about the history of the Jewish community in Kuldīga and the architectural design of the complex.

At last, the US Embassy in Riga, Latvia, again extended their pleasure and shared that their visit to Kuldiga ended with a stop at the Kurzemnieks news portal for an interview about the Ambassador’s impressions of this beautiful city.
