Belgium: The Royal Palace, PM De Croo offers condolences to Queen Elizabeth II

As an enormous crowd builds outside Buckingham Palace with crowds applauding and cheering the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, several leaders have started to send and offer their condolences and tributes to Queen.
Queen Elizabeth II was the UK’s longest-serving monarch. Queen Elizabeth II during her throne has seen 15 Prime Ministers, the decolonisation of her empire, the UK’s accession to the European Communities, and later its withdrawal from the EU.
As Queen, Elizabeth has visited over 110 nations, maintaining bilateral ties with members of Britain’s former empire as well as other nations across the globe.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander de Croo took it to his social media handle to express condolences upon the death of the Queen. He stated that, “Belgium sends its condolences to the British Royal Family and to the British people. May HRH Queen Elizabeth II Rest in Peace. For over 70 years, she was a beacon of stability and dignity for the British people.”

At the same time, King Philippe & Queen Mathilde has shared a message via their Twitter handle, stating that, “It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was an extraordinary personality.”

The statement reads, “We will always keep fond memories of this great lady who, during her reign, has shown dignity, courage and devotion. Our every encounters will remain etched in our memories forever. The United Kingdom has lost an exceptional monarch who left a deep mark on history. We extend our deepest condolences to the Royal Family and the British people. Rest in Peace, Your Majesty, with your beloved husband.”
