COVID-19 wave in Italy: 75,861 new cases reported with 325 deaths

A total of 75,861 people have been exposed to the deadly viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours on Thursday, February 10, 2022, in Italy, as per the health ministry of the country.

On the other hand, as many as 325 people have lost their lives due to the infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 over the past 24 hours in the country.

Moreover, the number of cases of the infection related to the novel coronavirus on the previous day was 81,367 within just 24 hours in the country, which shows that the number of cases of the COVID-19 has witnessed a decline in Italy in the 24 hours.

On the other hand, the number of fatalities has also witnessed a decline as a total of 384 people have succumbed to the deadly viral infection caused by the COVID-19 on the previous day.

Since the pandemic has emerged in the country, a total of 150,221 people have lost there due to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus in Italy in February 2020.

As per the reports, due to the surge in the cases of viral infection caused by the COVID-19, Italy has become the second-highest infected country by the novel coronavirus in Europe; on the other hand, Britain tops the chart in the number of cases of the novel coronavirus.

While Italy stood at the eighth position in the toll of the cases of the viral infection caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in the world and became highly contagious.

So far, the number of confirmed cases of infection related to the COVID-19 pandemic was 11.92 in the country.

As per the status of the admission of the patients in the hospital facilities, a total of 17,354 people have4 been admitted to the hospital due to the viral infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

On the other hand, a total of 17,932 people were admitted to the hospital facilities on the previous day.

In intensive care, a total of 83 patients have been admitted to the hospital facilities over the past 24 hours and came down from 90 on Wednesday.

As many as 683,715 samples have been processed with the testing methods of the COVID-19 pandemic over the past 24 hours, as per the report of the health ministry.
