Dominica celebrates inauguration of new flight route for LIAT 20

LIAT 20 airlines for the Caribbean region launched new flights to cover the direct route to Dominica from Antigua and Barbuda. The new route was presented and inaugurated for travelers on Thursday, 29 August, which was also recognized by PM Roosevelt Skerrit.

The inauguration flight was celebrated at the airstrip in Dominica, an event for which was joined by many government officials, LIAT 20 representatives, and other stakeholders in the field. The service Prime Minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, shared glimpses of the gathering through his official social media account.

The entire event was covered live, which showed the new flight for the route was hosted under the administration of airport staff and other officials. It was observed that flight was welcomed for a new route with a hint of music by musical groups.

The details of the flight were shared by the LIAT 20 officials in the gathering. The travellers who were looking for a better and smoother commune between the two islands can now book their tickets, as the services are ready for the visitors.

The price of the fight by LIAT 2020 on the new route is fixed from the starting amount of 999 US dollars and relevant taxes. However, the airline will continue serving its customers on the previous routes and will maintain regional air connectivity.

The introduction of flight on the route for Dominica is seen as a major add-on for the tourism sector of the island nation. It is projected that the new service will boost the movement of travelers, which will ultimately help in the growth of the economy with an increase in business engagement.
