Dominican Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, along with the members of the Cabinet and senior government officials, held high-level talks on Wednesday, May 23, 2023, with the Saudi Arabian Minister for Tourism, H.E. Ahmed Al-Khateeb.
Dominican Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit recently took to his social media handle to express his gratitude and pleasure over the visit of the Saudi Arabian Minister for Tourism, H.E. Ahmed Al-Khateeb. The Prime Minister, along with the members of the Cabinet and senior government officials, had high-level talks on Wednesday, May 23, 2023, with him.
The meeting took place at the Executive Lounge of the Douglas Charles Airport, Prime Minister Skerrit welcomed the Saudi Arabian Minister of Tourism, H.E. Ahmed Al-Khateeb, and also expressed his pleasure in meeting him, along with him the Prime Minister shared that with H.E. Ahmed Excellency led an eight-member delegation which included Sultan Almusallam which is the Deputy Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia; Saja Abdullah Alhoshan, the Chief of Staff; Faisal Alkahtani, Deputy CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD); and Mohammadi Shenqiti, Portfolio Manager, Expo 2023.
The Prime Minister shared that at the meeting, all the delegates of the Saudi Arabia Kingdom had various negotiations and discussed bilateral cooperation with them in several areas, including agriculture, tourism, culture and infrastructure development, to bring efficient growth, development and collaboration between the nations.
Notably, Saudi Arabian Bureaucrat H.E. Ahmed Al-Khateeb has been serving as a member of Tourism since 2019; the Tourism Minister is also serving as a member of the General Entertainment Authority, the Minister has also served as the Minister of Health in Saudi Arabia since 2014 to 2016 and as a former chairman of the Saudi Arabia Military Industries as well as the Saudi Fund of Development.
