Executive Agency of Bulgaria Celebrates Greek Day on 2nd day of International Spring Festival in Sofia

The Executive Agency of Bulgarians celebrated Greek Day on the 2nd day of the International Spring Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria, organized from May 4, 2023, to May 7, 2023. The update was shared by the Embassy of Greece in Bulgaria recently.

As per the Embassy of Bulgaria, the International Spring Festival in Sofia was organized from 4 to May 7 2023. by the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, on the 2nd day of the International Festival, the “Greek Day” was celebrated, which included delicious temptations and music from Greece. In particular, Greek restaurants in Sofia participated and traditional Greek food and drink shops with stalls that prepared Greek food for visitors. A Greek orchestra led by the musician Sotiris Balas always performed a musical program to entertain visitors.

The Head of the Trade Department represented the Greek Embassy, Mr Dimitrios Michas, First Secretary for Economic and Trade Affairs, who, in his address, emphasized the exceptional qualities of Greek gastronomy, accompanied by the sounds of Greek music culture, offered visitors to the unique experiences of the country.

The Executive Agency of Bulgarians was honoured to celebrate “Greek Day”, which included flavours and music from Greece. In particular, they participated in stands, Greek restaurants in Sofia and traditional Greek food and drink shops, which prepared dishes of Greek cuisine for visitors. Throughout the time, a Greek orchestra under the musician Mr Sotiris Balla performed a music program to entertain the crowd of guests.

The Embassy was represented by the Head of the OEU Office of the Greek Embassy, Mr Dimitrios Michas, General Counselor of OEU II, who, in his greeting, focused on the unique features of Greek cuisine, accompanied by the sounds of Greek music culture offers visitors to our country unique experiences.
