France to consider Pfizer vaccine against COVID

On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, the government of France has announced that they will be recognized the vaccine against the COVID-19 pandemic called Pfizer to administer their population by this week. France has stated that they will vaccinate their people with the vaccine named Pfizer against the novel coronavirus.

Further, the antiviral drug called Pfizer will become the first against the infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2, which have been approved by the around 27 nations of the European Union.

However, the country is still facing the surge of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the number of cases of the novel coronavirus is increasing in the country. The country is reporting the world’ highest per-capita daily infection caused by the COVID-19 virus.

Meanwhile, the admission in the hospitals is facing the decline as the number of patients who are admitted to the hospital due to the infection caused by the novel coronavirus is easing, and the government of France has also started lifting the various restrictions despite the surge of Omicron variant of COVID-19 virus on Wednesday.

France has also allowed the people to roam around the country without wearing the mask and also allowed to hold the large crowd’s concerts, sports tournaments etc. The work from the home provision, which has been imposed by the government against the novel coronavirus, has also been lifted.

Moreover, the EMA also recommend that the pills of Paxlovid against the COVId-19 is authorized for use and also said that it could help to avoid the infection caused by the novel coronavirus and also decrease the rate of the admission of the patients of the COVID-19 in the hospital facilities,

Meanwhile, the France administration has administered a total of 10,000 doses of the Pfizer dose against the novel coronavirus, as per the data given by the health ministry.

So, the government is ramping up the vaccination drive in the country in order to curtail the transmission of the infection caused by the deadly viral infection, which is named the novel coronavirus.
