French Embassy in Ghana organises reception for French Greek Gynaecologist and Politician Chrysoula Zacharopoulou

The French Embassy in Ghana organised a reception for French Greek Gynaecologist and Politician Chrysoula Zacharopoulou; They also welcomed French Communities of Ghana to join Chrysoula Zacharopoulou, who was also elected as the Minister of State in Development and has also been partners with the Francophonie and International Minister of Europe and the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne government will visit from 1st to 3rd April 2023. Chrysoula Zacharopoulou will visit the places and projects on Youth, Innovation and Culture.

The French Embassy in Ghana posted an update on their social media handle informing about the organised reception party in Ghana, France and the visit of French Greek Gynaecologist and Politician Chrysoula Zacharopoulou.

Also, on this occasion, the French Embassy in Ghana organised a reception party on Sunday, April 2, 2023, to gather the French Community. Chysoula Zacharopoulou reaffirmed its relationship with Africa as a balanced, reciprocal; at the event, she had a great exchange of communication with the French communities in Ghana.

Reportedly, In 2019, Chrysoula was a member of the Parliament; she was also a vice chair of the Development Committee and the parliament reporter for Africa-European union partnerships. In 2022, she also joined the special committee on Covid-19. In march 2020, Chrysoula Zacharopoulou also practised at the Bégin Military Teaching Hospital for several days.

In April 2021, Chrysoula Zacharopoulou co-chaired the COVAX Shareholders Council with Fernando Ruiz Gómez; she was also part of the delegation with President Emmanuel Macron on his visit to Rwanda, South Africa, in May 2021. In November 2021, the European Union’s Foreign Affairs Council followed a proposal of Josep Borrell to appoint Chrysoula Zacharopoulou as its focal person to strengthen coordination among European Union state members and accelerate her efforts on sharing COVID-19 vaccine doses, especially in Africa.
