India: J&K Government designated youth to establish business initiatives

The government of Jammu and Kashmir has provided over 5.5 lakh youngsters with financial aid and training to establish their businesses through the assistance provided by Mission Youth, banking institutions, and Central and State Government Institutions.

Since the new era’s primary objective is “Yogyata se Rozgar” (qualified employment), crucial steps have been taken by J&K Government to support young people to create a secure future for themselves.

The recipients are given all the assistance they may need and the necessary training to launch their business units in the manufacturing, services, retail, transportation, handicraft, agri-allied, and agri-infra sectors.

The government of J&K is focused on using youth’s energy positively by providing them with better chances in numerous fields like sports, academics, self-employment, and entrepreneurship.

In order to make an economic change, the Indian government is placing a specific emphasis on the Mission Youth programme; its primary objective is to empower young people through self-employment and skill development.

The administration has mandated that programmes’ impacts be evaluated and urged stakeholders to look into every possibility for increased business involvement in youth empowerment and skill-building initiatives.

In order to support socioeconomic change in the region, the J&K administration has given a special attention on youth self-employment and skill development in rural areas.

The UT’s administration is developing policies ensuring young participation to create new laws as well as their involvement in the implementation.

According to an official, it gives young people a chance to serve as ambassadors for innovation, peace, progress, and sports. In order to promote financial inclusion, where every citizen, regardless of socioeconomic position, can participate in the new age economy, several efforts have been implemented.
