Italy logs 28,630 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hrs

In Italy, as many as 28,630 people have been exposed to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours on Monday, February 14, 2022.

As per the health ministry, the cases of the novel coronavirus have witnessed a deep decline against the toll of the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus on the previous day as the cases of the COVID-19 on the previous day was stood at 51,959 in the country.

Moreover, a total of 281 people have lost their lives due to the viral infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 over the past 24 hours in Italy, as per the health ministry.

On the other hand, the death toll of the novel coronavirus has witnessed an increment on Monday, February 14, 2022; as many as 191 people have succumbed to the viral infection caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on the previous day in the country.

Since the pandemic has emerged in the country, a total of 151 296 people have lost their lives due to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus. The death toll has been considered the second-highest toll across the entire European country. On the other hand, Britain has stood at the ist position in the number of deaths due to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus in Italy.

Moreover, the country, due to the death linked to the COVID-19 viral infection, stood at the eighth position across the world.

Meanwhile, since the pandemic outbreak in the country, a total of 12.1 million people have been infected with the viral infection due to the novel coronavirus.

As per the status of the admission of the patients in the hospital facilities, a total of 16,050 people have been admitted to the hospital facilities due to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus on Monday, February 14, 2022, over the past 24 hours in Italy.

As per the reports, a total of 283,891 samples have been processed with the test of the COVID-19 pandemic over the previous day as compared to the previous day.
