‘Kremlin betrays not only its people, but soldiers also’, says Arnold Schwarzenegger in emotional message

Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has recently tweeted a powerful video amid civilians coming under attack in Ukraine every day with tens of thousands of people forced to leave their homes, & many of them into the bomb shelters, as per Kyiv.
The legendary actor and former bodybuilder mentioned that, “I love the people of Russia. That is why I have to tell you the truth.” While he has called out Russia’s Vladimir Putin to finish the “senseless war”, he also said that the Kremlin has betrayed “not only to its people but also to its soldiers”.
Schwarzenegger, the former bodybuilder turned actor and the former governor of California, also showers compliments on Russian nationals agitating against the war at the risk of getting detained and called them his “new heroes”. To Putin, he said, “You started this war. You are leading this war. You can stop this war.”

The Hollywood star, and seven times Mr Olympia, mentioned in an emotional message for the people and troops of Russia, “I am speaking to you today because things are going on in the world that are being kept from you, terrible things that you should know about… Ukraine did not start this war.”
The actor further said, “When I see babies being taken out of remains, I think I am watching the horrors of the 2nd world war, not the news of today.” He further added that people have been told lies for what has been called ‘a special military operation by Russia.’
He further recalled the wounds his father Gustav Schwarzenegger had sustained while battling for Nazis in Russia during the Second World War. The actor said, “He was broken physically & mentally and lived his life in pain. To the Russian soldiers who are listening to this, I don’t want you to be broken like my father.”
