The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, PCSO expressed their pleasure to announce and honour the luckiest first-time bettor from Pampanga (Municipality in the Philippines), who recently won the Megalotto 6/45 jackpot of P41,256,521.60 on June 2, 2023, with the winning combination 25-15-05-11-09-03.
The Phillippines Charity Sweepstakes Office, PCSO, is an intergovernmental nodal agency of the Philippines which raises and provides funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
As per the Update, the PCSO, while expressing their pleasure and honouring the Pampanga-based girl for achieving the prize, shared, “First-time bettor from Pampanga takes home 41-M Megalotto 6/45 Prize.
A lucky first-time bettor from Pampanga won the Megalotto 6/45 jackpot of P41,256,521.60 on June 2, 2023, with the winning combination 25-15-05-11-09-03.”
While receiving the prize, she said she had never played any lotto games before and just gave it a shot on a whim. She firmly believes that if one’s luck is destined, God will make it happen.
The Pampangueña claimed her prize on June 8 and expressed her happiness that she can now improve her family’s living conditions and start a business that will serve as a stable source of income. It took her four times to confirm that she had the winning combination, and when it finally sank in, it made her emotional.
PCSO guarantees the safety and security of all winners by keeping all their personal information confidential.
Under Republic Act No. 1169, winners have one year from the draw date to redeem their prizes at PCSO’s main office at Sun Plaza Building, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City. Otherwise, it will result in forfeiture and form part of the PCSO Charity Fund. Prizes exceeding 10,000 pesos are subject to 20% final tax following the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.
