South Australia: MCCSA organises Community Connections Program

Australia: The Multicultural Communities Council of South Australia recently organised the Community Connections Program, where they had the honour of joining the vibrant Ukrainian Food and Culture Festival.

As per the Update, the Slava Ukrainian Culture organised the Community Connections program to mark the Ukrainian Independence Day.

Several Delegations, including the regional Coordinator of the Community Connections program at the Lutheran Care Barossa Office, Martin Walton, joined and took part in sharing the festivities with them.

The Multicultural Communities Council in South Australia marked this festival as a true testament to Ukraine’s rich cultural heritage and its people’s enduring spirit.

“We witnessed incredible teamwork, dedication, and artistry from Aliona King and the talented dancers who graced the stage, as well as unwavering spirit and diverse contributions from all the volunteers,” they added.

In addition, the MCCSA’s collective commitment to showcasing Ukrainian culture and history was truly inspiring.

Reportedly, the Multicultural Communities Council of SA aims to provide support and back to all the people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds to realise their potential as active contributors to the economic, social and cultural life of South Australia.

South America’s Department of Human Services funds the Multicultural Coordinating Partner (MCP) for the Community Connections Program.

The MCCSA believes in forming strong social connections to improve quality of life and achieve better health outcomes. The Community Connections Program serves as a vital support system, reaching out to those who might not qualify for mainstream initiatives like NDIS and My Aged Care.

They played a significant role in bridging the gaps and facilitating connections between Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) and New and Emerging Communities across Australia.

The MCCSA also serves as a hub to establish connections and share updates, success stories, events, and opportunities about life circumstances and events.
