Spain reports first cases of stealth variant of Omicron

On Monday, February 7, 2022, the health ministry of Spain has informed that they had recovered the first case of the viral infection caused by the stealth Omicron. The first case has been detected in the Galicia of Spain, as per the authorities.

The first person who belongs to the Galicia of Spain was exposed to the viral infection caused by the BA.2 sub-variant of Omicron of the novel coronavirus. The first case was received from the areas of the Vigo, as per the report of the Xunta de Galicia.

As per further reports, the first case, which is infected to the stealth Omicron of the novel coronavirus, was firstly detected on Sunday, February 6, 2022.

Moreover, the authorities have informed that a total of 15 samples have been taken by witnessing and tracing the contact of the particular case. Now, these 15 samples have been processed by the authorities, and the critical monitories have been taken place at the laboratory of Spain. Moreover, the authorities have carefully studied the samples to detect the nature and behaviour of the new variant of the Omicron.

So far, due to the viral infection caused by the stealth Omicron, there was no case of hospitalisation that have been recovered, and all the symptoms were similar to the mild flu.

On Monday, February 7, the Health Ministry of Spain is also discussing the various plans to remove the mandating of wearing, ask outdoor against the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus. Moreover, various restrictions against the COVID-19 pandemic has also been lifted by the Spain government.

Moreover, the Spain government have also asserted that the vaccination is mandatory as it is the only solution to combat the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus, but lifting some restrictions against the infection of COVID-19 could be an effective step for the c citizens of the country.

However, the situation of the COVID-19 is under control.
