UK: MP Damien Moore addresses faulty street light issue in Southport Constituency

British Conservative Party Politician and Member of Parliament for Southport Constituency in the United Kingdom, Damien Moore, expressed concern over the faulty street lighting issue reflected during his ongoing conversations and correspondence with the Southport constituents.

While addressing the issue and raising his concern for the members of the Southport Constituency, the British Conservative Party Politician and Member of Parliament for the Southport Constituency in the United Kingdom, Damien Moore, took to his official social media handle on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

He wrote, “Recently, I have unfortunately noticed multiple instances of faulty street lighting in our town, something frequently reflected in my conversations and correspondence with constituents. Whether it be lighting failures on Lord Street or the 18 broken posts across the Venetian Bridge, it is unacceptable that Sefton Council’s inaction puts our town’s strong reputation as an attractive tourist destination at risk.”

Further, while informing the Constituents about this issue and ensuring to work against this issue, MP Damien continued, “I have written to the Council about this travesty and have highlighted the serious safety concerns associated with faulty street lighting – whether this is due to exposed wiring, or an increased risk of crime in areas with low levels of light.”

Furthermore, While ensuring people about the issue, MP Robbie Moore urged people to raise the issue immediately next to him. “If you have faulty lighting in your area, please write to me, and I will ensure your concerns are taken straight to the Council,” he added.

Additionally, the Member of Parliament for Southport Constituency in the United Kingdom, Damien Moore, has been working consistently to serve the people of his Constituency. Apart from serving as the Member of Parliament for Southport since 2017, MP Damien Moore also serves as the Councillor for the Preston City Council.
