Belgium: Chargée d’Affaires Natalia Anoshynma attends diplomatic representatives Conference

The Chargée d’Affaires, Natalia Anoshynma, attended a conference for diplomatic representatives today (Saturday), September 30, 2023.

The Meeting took place with the organizational support of the Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency (AWEX) and Wallonie-Bruxelles International Agency (WBI).

The event was devoted to green energy. The main milestones of Wallonia in the field of renewable energy were presented, particularly in terms of optimization of energy potential, use of hydraulic power and hydrogen as promising future energy carriers.

During the event, the Director of the AWEX agency, Pascale Delcominette held a speech. In the course of the address, she noted the need for the fastest possible energy transition to clean technologies that reduce the impact of harmful factors on the environment.

The Director of the Belgian Hydrogen Council, Cédric Brüll, outlined the main trends in the development of hydrogen technologies both in the Walloon region and in Belgium as a whole.

The energy transition is the main way through which countries can exit dependence on such energy carriers as gas, which russia uses as a means of terror.

Reportedly, Temporary Confidant Natalia Anoshina congratulated the Speaker of the House of Deputies of Luxembourg, Fernan Etzen, on being awarded his State Award of Ukraine – the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise II Degree – in accordance with the decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Ukraine Embassy in the Kingdom of Belgium extended their gratitude and thanked Fernan Etzen for his unwavering support of Ukraine and his significant personal contribution to strengthening interparliamentary cooperation between Ukraine and Luxembourg.

The Embassy also extended their separate gratitude to the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies and the excellent team of the Speaker of the Luxemburg Parliament for standing in solidarity with our country during the confrontation of Russian armed aggression.
