The Belgium Embassy in the United States of America introduced the new and must-see place, 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 located in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes. The place is an authentic place that brings one with the remembrance of the courage and sacrifices of the militants.

As per the information received, This war museum provides an immersive experience that takes one back to the 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗴𝗲, a significant turning point in WWII and one of the most highly regarded actions in U.S. military history.

As per the Belgium Embassy in the United States of America, the new exhibition hall opened last week and presents an exceptional array of WWII vehicles, tanks, artillery pieces, and equipment. 

The items come from the various countries, both from the allied powers and Axis forces, involved in the conflict from May 1940 to the liberation of Europe.

The Bastogne Barracks were built in 1935 to billet the 2nd Regiment of the “Bataillon de Chasseurs Ardennais”, an infantry formation in the Belgian Armed Forces Land Component. During WWII, they hosted the headquarters of the U.S. VIIIth Army Corps. 

It is still there on 16 December 1944, when Hitler launched his last major offensive of the Second World War: the dreadful Battle of the Bulge.

The Barracks became a museum in 2010 and one of the War Heritage Institute sites in 2017. 

The city of Bastogne hosts many other captivating WWII sites, including the Bastogne War Museum and the Mardasson Memorial.
