We’ll be back, wrote Kylian Mbappe after losing to Argentina

Following a heartbreaking loss to Argentina in the world cup final against Messi’s team, French star Kylian Mbappe wrote, “We’ll be back.” He became the only second player in World Cup Final history to score a hat-trick. Even so, it wasn’t sufficient to win the game.

The winner of the Golden Boot uploaded a photo on his Instagram account after arriving in France and added the caption, “We’ll be back.” The image makes it clear that Mbappe has no plans to rest and intends to win a significant international prize for their nation.

Mbappe is now concentrating on the Champions League and Euro 24. By scoring eight goals at the World Cup in Qatar, he surpasses Messi, who scored seven for the entire competition.

Argentina scored the game’s first goal, a penalty kick, in the 23rd minute of the World Cup Final at Lusail Stadium. In the 36th minute, Di Maria scored an incredible goal to double Argentina’s advantage.

The trophy was virtually in Argentina’s hands as France failed to score until the 79th minute. Mbappe scored two goals in the space of two minutes to flip the tide in favour of the French team in an instant. The first goal came from a penalty, while the second came from a powerful strike that dragged the ball into the goal.

The French side almost scored a goal in the last minute and secured the World title second time continuously. Still, Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez made a historic save and further extended the game to penalties.

The Argentine strikers didn’t miss a single penalty shot compared to France, who missed two. At last, Messi Won the FIFA World Cup and became the most decorated player in football history.

President Emmanuel Macron was also present at Lusail Stadium. He condolences Mbappe after France lose to Argentina on penalties. It was the second time France’s national team lost a World Cup final in penalties. In 2006, France lost to Italy on penalties. Zidane’s headbutt is still remembered by every football fan who watched the moment.
