Ukrainian residents in Brussels are planning a sizable protest against the Russian invasion and in support of Ukraine on Saturday, February 25. The rally is a part of an international week of protesting the war of aggression.
On February 24, the continuing Russian invasion of Europe will mark its first birthday. Numerous innocent people have lost their lives as a result of an unjustified Russian assault.
Two goals are the main focal points of the protest. First, to halt Russian aggression, which in 2022 resulted in the deaths of about 41,193 Ukrainian civilians.
The demonstration calls on the western partners to provide heavy equipment and cutting-edge weapons to bolster the Ukrainian armed forces.

• Peace for Ukraine, reject Russian aggression! Russian military must immediately stop bombing and remove all of its personnel from Ukraine.
• The broadest possible solidarity and support for the people of Ukraine in their righteous fight against Russian aggression.
The Ukrainian community in Belgium organised a rally in the country’s capital for the second time. On November 27, 2022, a group of Ukrainian residents assembled outside NATO Headquarters in a human chain and demanded to provide Ukraine with weaponry and humanitarian aid to fend off Russian forces’ fierce attacks.
The efforts of Ukrainian citizens paid out for the country, as the EU later launched another $18 billion in aid. In comparison, the US offered a massive $400 billion assistance with various armaments, including Javelin anti-tank missiles and other high-tech equipment.
The Ukrainian people joined Brussels for the second time to draw attention to Russian aggression. Over 7,110 Ukrainian civilians have been recorded due to Russian missile attacks since the beginning of the invasion.
