Paris Fashion Week Spring 2026 is set to mark a historic shift in the fashion industry, featuring a dynamic lineup of designer debuts and a significantly revamped schedule.

Running from Sept. 29 to Oct. 7, the event is shaping up to reflect both creative upheaval and market realities, as luxury spending continues to slow globally.

This season will see some of the most anticipated first collections from newly appointed creative directors across major fashion houses.

Dior will unveil Jonathan Anderson’s inaugural women’s ready-to-wear collection on Oct. 1 at 2:30 p.m., while Pierpaolo Piccioli will present his first line for Balenciaga on Oct.

4 at 8 p.m. Loewe is also entering a new era with designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez showcasing their debut collection on Oct. 3 at 11:30 a.m.

Chanel, another highlight of the season, has shifted its traditional morning slot to an evening showcase. Matthieu Blazy will reveal his first collection for the house at 8 p.m. on Oct. 6 at the Grand Palais, ensuring a grand finale atmosphere before the official close.

Meanwhile, Saint Laurent will kick off the first day with its signature 8 p.m. show, expected to return to the dramatic Trocadéro backdrop near the Eiffel Tower. Louis Vuitton has secured a midday slot on Sept. 30 at the Louvre, moving away from its typical late-week showcase.

Other notable debuts include Miguel Castro Freitas at Mugler on Oct. 2 at midday, and Duran Lantink at Jean Paul Gaultier on Oct. 5 at 4:30 p.m., marking the brand’s return to the ready-to-wear schedule after more than a decade.

Glenn Martens, who recently debuted his first haute couture collection for Maison Margiela, will present his ready-to-wear line on Oct. 4 at noon. Carven is also undergoing a transition with Mark Thomas Howard stepping into the role of creative director, with his debut set for Oct. 2 at 4 p.m.

In total, the official schedule released by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode lists 76 runway shows and 36 presentations.

While last season ended with heavyweight names such as Chanel, Miu Miu, and Saint Laurent, the final day this season will feature a quieter close, with emerging talent Meryll Rogge — fresh from her ANDAM Award win — presenting on Oct. 7 at 6 p.m.

Returning brands include Celine, which will showcase Michael Rider’s main collection on Oct. 5, along with Lanvin, Thom Browne, and Vetements.

Newcomers Matières Fécales, Julie Kegels, and Rogge will also add a fresh voice to the calendar. Ganni and upcycled fashion label Façon Jacmin will appear in the presentation schedule.

Absent this season are Kenzo, Off-White, Marine Serre, Atlein, and Ludovic de Saint-Sernin, indicating a shifting landscape in Parisian fashion. With its mix of new creative leadership and evolving show formats, Paris Fashion Week Spring 2026 promises to redefine the global fashion narrative.
