The Hasanlu Lovers are a pair of humans found at the Tappe Hasanlu archaeological site in Naqadeh in the west Azerbaijan Province of Iran.

My True Ancestry shared that, The archaeological site of Hasanlu Lovers was unearthed in this exact position in 1972. The 2,800-year-old human remains of the “Hasanlu Lovers” were found in a bin with no objects in Hasanlu.
The Hasanlu lover’s skeletons were found together in a plaster-lined brick bin with no other objects except a stone slab under one skeleton’s head. At the same time, their relationship is still a mystery, but people call these skeletons found kissing each other as a symbol of ‘eternal love’.
The site of Hasanlu Lovers was inhabited continuously from the 6th millennium BC to the 3rd century AD and was excavated for ten seasons between 1956 and 1974 by researchers.
The individual on the left – whose sex isn’t defined with certainty – was around 30–35 years old at the time of death, while the individual on the right is believed to have been a young male of about 20-22 years of age.
Also, there are many more puzzles and questions concerning researchers about the Hasanlu Lovers. Other than the gender dispute, historians are not sure why the two came to be in the bin, even though they speculate that they were probably hiding during the final sacking of Hasanlu.
Historians suggest that the famous couple and others at the site were most likely victims of vicious and interpersonal violence.
